Process
Follow the steps below to get started with your project.
- Choose your partners to work in groups of three.
- Divide the work among yourselves - For instance: who is good at doing research, who has fast typing skills, who can organize the data well, who is good at taking pictures, and so on.
- Read the questions under 'Task' before you begin reading the information from websites.
- Take notes while reading the information.
- On your credits page provide references to the URLs used in your research.
- Discuss the information with your partners and choose the points to include in your presentation.
- Read the rubric carefully before your begin creating your presentation.
- For PowerPoint and Prezi instructions, use the laminated handouts from our class.
- If you have decided to do PowerPoint Presentation, limit your number of slides to 'twelve.'
- Likewise if you have decided to do Prezi, limit your number of frames to 'twelve.'
- Get a copy of checklist from your teacher and put a check mark in the space given as you complete each task.
- Make sure to check your work to see if you have included all the information based on criteria from the rubric. (Refer to the rubric on evaluation page.
